Notes
Track 14 (10 mins, 40 secs) consists of 4 parts; first is the listed track "Smash", followed by an afterword by the album's narrator and an 'Acoustic Jam'-version of "Come Out And Play". This is followed by five full minutes of silence before reaching the hidden bonus track, which is a simple guitar/drum riff taken from "Baghdad" (original title of the track "Tehran", which featured on their self-titled debut album).

Great 90's album from the Offspring. Has great songs Like "self esteem" and "gotta get away". My personal favorite is "genocide". This album never gets old.

Nope. After the listed track goes the afterword, that's right; after that goes a drum with guitar play as in track 5 "Genocide", and then, after 5 minutes of silence, - 'Acoustic Jam'-version of "Come Out And Play" as a hidden track, which only appears on CD and not on vinyl. However, on vinyl there is the afterword and that Genocide No. 2 (or "Baghdad"); from this I understand that those are parts of the main track and only the acoustic jam "come out and play" is a bonus. -
Edited 19 years agoYou want true punk? This is it. Aggressive, fast, and annoying at times, this CD shows what The Offspring sounded like before they opted for a softer sound in the late 90s. The lyrics loudly tackle political subjects in that stereotypical punk-rock way. It's not the best punk CD ever made, but it is sort of catchy. So if you want to listen to stereotypical "real punk," then listen to this. If you want stereotypical "pop-punk," then listen to Offspring's newer stuff. Either way, you're not going to get anything too original.
