Grew up listening to Mascis and his various bands after really liking dinosaur Jr’s SST releases and then their major debut. Found this still in the wrapper at Goodwill for $2– simply a great album. It’s what I pictured him sounding like when he got older and did solo work. Now I’ll need to go and buy some more of his solo material. Glad to see such a nice guy still chugging along and making a buck doing what he enjoys, at least I assume he does enjoy it. Buy the album it’s solid— not sure if vinyl is any better, doubtful, but probably a lot more expensive.
