Crystal clear pressing, also awesome to hear more Smiths songs than How Soon Is Now. Johnny seems to have truly improved vocally, there is a fluency to the voice which is slightly different here than on Adrenalin Baby. The only thing I'm a bit disappointed of is the colour, on online pictures it looks almost metallic but it's just a regular orange. Overall it's perfect soundwise !

Edited 19 days agoOnly halve way through the records, but so far, excellent! Punchy, full sound and a nice package too, with glossy printed inners.
EDIT: awesome release. This one tops ‘Adrenaline Baby’. -

Edited one month agoCompared to the 2015 Adrenalin Baby live, its an improvement in sound. The 2015 LP is in no way bad; it is quite the opposite, but I was captivated that this takes LP the sonic-ness even a step further, especially on This Charming Man.

Edited one month agoSurprisingly, some spoken bits between songs are (very!) different from the recordings from the same supposed date (14th April 2024, Hammersmith Odeon) we can find on Youtube so..what´s happening here? Were those bits re-recorded for this release? Just the spoken bits or maybe some of the music too?
Edit: I played the songs from the vinyl with the youtube videos "in-sync" and, even though the main recording does appear to be from that date, there are a lot of edits, singing beats removed and spoken parts relocated at different moments, or clearly re-recorded. It serves as a very good piece and recording of the show, the sound quality is great, but it's not a 100% faithful copy of what happened live that day. -
