White label of this exists, I had 1 sent to me courtesy of Mr Modo. I sold mine to a guy called eamon who worked in a record store called Record savings that existed in Banbury at the time.
Don't know how rare it is but mine was def yellow vinyl and hand written white labels.

There are releases sometimes which despite not being the original release on the first/original label/country and all that, are being just so much nicer to collect and play compared to the original which everyone is searching for and hence the high prices......and this is one of them. The Strategic Repulse of Ploy on this EP is pretty much the same as the original Strategic mix but the Strategic Repulse has this superb intro and slow build up towards the 4x4 beat which makes this a much nicer track to listen and play, or for that part even open a DJ set with. For me the stand out track and a serious hidden gem though is The Orb's (Battersea Was An Island Of Mud Mix) which is just another fantastic freaky ambient classic in The Orb's signature style and everyone has seemed to overlook.
And... for the coloured vinyl freaks well yes this one is regarding that part also a great to have item. 5 out of 5 for me on this one!

Glorious chunk of delicious yellow vinyl which still gets regular plays from me despite being more than two decades old. This is a timeless track with the only version worthy of attention being the near-12-minute UR mix. This track used to sell for a king's ransom on GEMM, so if you can get it as a bargain here I would jump at the chance.

I'm not so enthused about the Strategic mix...its the UR bubble and squeaking funky percussion line that does me in...if I can have track preferences on my ectoplasmic Ipod as I hit the stratosphere after shuffling off this mortal coil...then this is one of them! The pressing isn't so hot about 2 thirds in there is a jump...at least there was on mine...but then again I played it so much the record became wafer thin and practically dissapeared...I have an inkling that Mad Mike was largely behind this it smells of his funk...and boy was he funky around this period..A massive thumbbs up...Ploy wouldn't be Ploy without the UR mix for me
