Just like the remastered Gods of the Earth reissue from a few years ago, this album has never sounded better than this. All the instruments are balanced and noticeably present in this version. The drums have more body and the bass guitar is definitely present. This is a must have for any sword fan who is serious about sound quality.

I finally got this off my turntable. I love this album and this is a rippin' reissue. The vinyl coloring is mesmerizing. Who knew "cream" would be the sick new game changer?!

I like the release. Sound is good. Drums have a little extra depth. Overall clean pressing and good mix. Embossed cover is nice and the vinyl is gorgeous. I love a gatefold and this lacks that, but otherwise it's a top-notch release from a top-notch band.

Edited one month agoI purchased this on a whim, so glad I did! I love this! The sound and packaging is amazing! So far my favorite RSD 2025 purchase. Now I have to get more from these guys!

Edited one month agoLooks and sounds gorgeous. Only downside is no Bandcamp card like Gods of The Earth from RSD a couple of years back.

I'll reiterate what SultansOfVinyl said. "Amazing sound - extremely happy with this release." This is my 4th RSD release from The Sword and they always go all out for their RSD packaging. While Age Of Winters is still my favorite album 'cover' as far as what they did for RSD metallic silver, embossed jacket, this Warp Riders "Sea of Pyres" color variant is my favorite wax; it's quite beautiful and I think they knocked it out of the park. I'm a "sound quality on black vinyl traditionalist" at heart, but IMO this color variation was done right and sounds great. Flat, not warped and quiet pressing...until you crank it up ;)

There are STACKS of these lying around today at End of an Ear in Austin, which was selling them for $32.99. Don't get scalped.
