Edited 4 days agoI’m going to disagree slightly with the praise on this pressing, solely on the grounds of the extra tracks: this record is mastered VERY quiet, presumably to adjust for the excessive length of each side. I’d much rather have had a louder pressing and ditch the bonus tracks: say what you like but lower volume means turning the stereo up, which always means more surface noise.

Pheonmenal album, probably in my top 10s ever. Just down to Earth, no-nonsense celebratory music with some of the best musicians you could ever find. I found this pressing by chance, and I'm happy with the quality, though I cannot compare it to other presings. That Tubby sound is all over this, with the Earth shaking bass and those clear, punchy drums, which they could preserve with this pressing I would say. 10/10

Can anyone comment on the sound quality of this new pressing - have been after this for some time but earlier pressing in VGC are outside my ££ .
Thanks
