Edited 8 months agoI have a very strange copy of this single. mine shows 'I Saw Her Standing There' printed on both sides instead of 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand' on the other side. I need all the help I can get to solve if this is a first pressing or not. side one matrix number is: "45-X-44771-F3" and there may be something after that but I cant tell what it looks like a rough # then just nothing i can read. and side two is: "45-X-44772-F5 #5" If anybody can help me, thank you very much!

One of my best finds yet. I was at a barn sale back in 2021 and found this lying on the floor with the picture sleeve among boxes of LPs. Asked the people running the sale how much records were and was told "one dollar a piece." I was a very happy camper that day!

The Beatles' first #1 in the states and the start of Beatlemania. Truly revolutionary, this is one you absolutely need in your collection just for the historicity.

Edited 3 years agoSide A (Credited to Duchess Music Corp): 45 - 4471 - P1 (small, light engraving 4c?) - [IAM]
Side B (Credited to George Pincus & Sons): 45 - X - 44772 - F5 #8(?) (Could also be a zero, it looks like two lower case c's on top of each other) [IAM]
This is the most similar entry I could find on Discogs to what I own minus the Pincus & sons credit on side B. Oddly enough there isn't even a Pincus & Sons runout that resembles mine at all. Obviously it doesn't mean much but my picture sleeve is identical to this release.
