I was completely underwhelmed when this was released - so many tracks by so many artists, and still - so utterly boring. I have given it many chances over the years, hoping that, now, now I can appreciate this 4 record Kompakt Galore, but, no. Zzzzz...

the kompakt crew releases some of their best tracks on this compilation, only the first Kompakt are equally good (Kom 1, Kom 2, Kom 4)
I love the fact that this is a colaboration between the artists from kompakt, the best of both sides ... and that's how you make perfect tracks !!

Edited 4 years agoIf all of the Dettinger and Ulf Lohmann tracks were on the same records in this set, then I would have given it 5 stars.

Dettinger remixing closer music is worth the price of this set. In retrospect, 1,2,3 no gravity is such an enduring Kompakt classic, and because Dettinger is an auteur legend with his signature sound, the listening bliss of his remix is simply beautiful.
