I bought this new and the inner sleeves are torn apart. There is also a lot of cardboard and other crap on the vinyl. A lot of crack and pops, like it was a 50 year old record found in the attic! Im so tired of paying for shit like this!

The UK pressing sounds much, much better. This one sounds digitally dead.

Watch out for the newest batch of these. Pressed by United, and they are really noisy and distorted.

Nice, solid pressing. Though I seem to have gotten a copy that has the labels on the wrong side.

I'm glad this record exists and was created. It's not cool to read when someone doesn't like something. I think people need to understand that we're going to react to things differently because of WHO WE ARE...not because of what the album is.

Its true, didnʻt want to believe it but...i heard this when it first came out on CD and was underwhelmed, but right now i am listening to it on vinyl and its utterly transformed, i get it now, pure tones and frequencies and a lot of backgound mmm, depth, the negative void space is there, a presence, its not nothing, its it own sound, wrapped in 3D....wow amazing. An inside secret...most people will hear this on a mid-rate quality digital file out of little speakers and like plastic flowers, it will never touch all your given senses in the way the real thing can. Its kinda radial what he is doing here when you juxtapose this against the current pop trends of hyper maximalist compressed loud midrange-y walls of glop. An argument to take back the missing frequencies...

I, like many others, don't understand the hype around this album. The off-key, often detuned sound is not as 'fresh and experimental' as it is annoying. So are the "chipmunks on acid" vocodered vocals. The main track on the album, "Limit To Your Love", sounds MUCH better performed by Feist, so the cover version seems unnecessary and sounds empty. The rest of the tracks sound very boring as they don't go anywhere... in fact the whole album doesn't go anywhere, it just ends the way it starts.

One of the biggest let downs this year for me. It got hyped because of one great track, 'Limit to your Love', which is a cover. Wilhelm Scream' is also a nice 2nd single But when the LP came out the rest fell through. What a boring album. The compositions don't have the tension and lack real emagination.

Doesn't come with a free . I think in today's market, buying vinyl is an extremely limited way of enjoying music. We all love vinyl, yes. But every new release/reissue should come with a code for the digital version. If you're going to pay sometimes 3X the amount the MP3s would cost, you should be able to take the music with you. I really dig this record, but this US version does not include the DL. Stupid. (4/5)

my pressing sounds beautiful. extremely clear with no surface noise. The blank parts of the record are silent. Wonderful!
