A true masterpiece from beginning to end. Bought 2 copies as soon as I received the Google Alert that I eagerly awaited for over a decade. One of the best discoveries I encountered along with the Maurizio series. If my vinyl collection ever gets destroyed, this is one of the first series that’ll I’ll replace.

Edited 9 months agothe sonics are superb here, the levels are, indeed, LOW - so in the end I digitized a "wet-play" of my copy to keep the records NM for future use (if any)
if you got a "lucky" clean copy you can boost the gain knob up and the s/n will stay fine, but any dirt or hairline will stick out thru the signal so I'd still make a digital backup for the 2x12" so that you can enjoy this version years after the 12"s are dead. -
Outstanding record, no need to say more because everybody here knows what a gem it is. Repress is a little quiet indeed but if you gain it up a little it’s punchy, clear and crisp. Nothing to worry about.

Quiet pressing or just a record that was produced with a muffled/submerged sound as part of its aesthetic? I think the latter given that the digital version has the same sound. Excellent record either way, happy with my copy.

Noisy pressing.
Especially continious clicks second track side D and loud clicks innergroove side A.
Shame ! -
sounds the same as the 2008 CD remaster, incredible pressing, if a tad quiet.
A2 and both side D tracks are total standouts, this still sounds fresh after 25 years!! -
It sounds fine to my ears, but I believe there is a mistake in the sides -
My side B is a single track, while Side C is two tracks. -
