In All Honesty I Prefer The Original 1986 CD To This 2009 SHM CD, Both Are Great But The Clarity Of The Original Allows A lot More Of The Subtle And Buried Nuances In The Music To Come Through, Especially On The More Rhythmic Tracks. -
Edited 2 years agoI started to try these SHM mini ones and noticed, this is a total different listening experience. Since I am a fan for decades I can easely say, I never heard so many details before and a huge spacious soundstage. It is kind of a hard sound, very direct and in the face. Now I have to buy all of them. On this, Sometimes it snows.. has so much details I was shocked to hear things I never noticed. I will not want to miss my vinyl but this is a totally other experience. Love it! I guess Prince would say: sounds sexy. Beside this crystal clear sound, these are made with lots of care. The resolution on the covers are as clean as the sound. They even added all the original paperwork from the vinyl releases. In Controversy you even find the poster in small format. Lovely!
