Incredible full and detailed sound. Don't pay attention to naysayers. This original US pressing sounds the way the album was intended. This record has a warm sound with prevalence of of all kinds of earth-shaking low frequencies. A delight.

This album was pretty rushed to get released on physical media eh? First pressing is awful and the cassette pressing is terrible.

Just got through spinning this one for the first time in a while, didn’t really how it sounded. I don’t think it’s bad at all. It’s very bright and the mids and highs are very pronounced, and it’s extremely detailed. I heard sounds and effects in several songs that I feel like I’ve never heard before. Cymbals, hi hat in particular are very loud in the mix, but not too loud to clip or distort here. I experienced absolutely zero IGD or distortion of any kind on either record, except where it’s intended to be distorted. No sibilance anywhere either. Overall I think the sound could best be described as “wide open.” Issues has always been a somewhat dry and muddy sounding record, but not here. Even the static outro of Dirty has a nice sound to it. Very curious to hear the MOV and EU presses and see what the difference is, but to my ears as a lifelong Korn enthusiast, this pressing is an excellent way to ingest Issues.

The sound quality is quite bad, the highs are cut off and the inner tracks are badly distorted. I directly compared it to my EU original which sounds WAY better. The MOV reissue sounds identical to the EU first pressing.
