In my opinion it isn't as good as the vg+/nm 1969 original that I also have, but is still enjoyable and perfectly listenable. Classic album.

I do not know the primary pressing, bt i have to say this is a perfect pressing, cause it‘s flat, quiet, no pops snd clicks.
Like this every record should be pressed.
It‘s an very old recording, so what should i say? The sound could be better, much better, but as i told before i don‘t know the first recording and its quality -
Edited one year agoNot sure this is cut by IS as suggested in a previous comment.
Neither this nor the 50th Anniversary appear to have IS etched in deadwax and according to the Discogs info, both issues had laquers cut at Optimal media. Ian Sefchick (IS) is/was a mastering and cutting engineer at Capitol.
I would conclude from this information if correct, then most likely cut at Optimal from a digital file.
Edit: IS now runs his own DarkSky Mastering facility

Unfortunetely this reissue sounds not very good compared to my 1970 US pressing.
Sounds very thin and Robertas voice "shrill"
Vinyl is not flat too -
Does anyone what source was used for this reissue or who cut it? Can’t see any mention of “original tapes” in the listings so guessing it’s digital.
