The concept is simple - to share a new record from my vinyl collection every week along with a short review including, my favourite track, a suggested listening environment, info on the pressing I own and further related recommendations. My aim is to get more people listening to albums again, the way they were intended to be played. -
Does the master on this pressing sound tinny and brittle to anyone else? Very little low end. Kind of a bum pressing to my ears. I haven't played the CD comparison yet. -

Edited 2 years agoNOTE: Other than the skip spot I mention in this review, this pressing sounds fine, it's quiet, no warping. It is THIS close to being a great release, ESPECIALLY at this price point.
First one I got had a consistent skip on "Saltwater," so I returned it and got a new one.
The second copy had the same exact skip.
Bear in mind: I was careful with the disc, I cleaned it carefully, and the skip only sorta... moved to a slightly later spot on the song.

The reviews on that page seem to be speaking of this release, but just confused because the ONLY significant identifier to distinguish the two is the CD. Both have the same barcode, same runout, similar price points, etc.
