So much better than the Australian release! The cover is also quite cool...

I cannot believe he never broke through. I just saw "Searching For Sugar Man" the other day, and the music and the documentary just blew my mind. Especially the music. I mean... this guy wrote lyrics that blew Dylan and Van Zandt out of the water. I know it is a bold statement, but it´s so bizarre to think about it. He was miles ahead of Dylan writing songs in my opinion even though he released his first album long after Dylans first. Being forgotten and unheard of by american people, his record "Cold Fact" found it´s way and became a massive cult following in South America and Australia. He was an inspiration for the people during the Apartheid in the same way Dylan was for the american civil-right movement. The different was, Dylan knew it but Rodriguez, he didn´t have a clue what his music was doing over in South America.

The story is so unreal to be real. But the music is just fantastic stuff. Just gripping.. life changing even.
