Edited 2 months agoAnyone here able to comment on the quality of this pressing compared to the VMP pressing? Very torn between getting one or the other (although I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to get both).
Edit: Got this pressing and it sounds fantastic. Still would love to see how people compare the two. -
If anyone has the poster they are willing to sell as a stand alone purchase please reach out to me I'm interested

Edited one year agoI mean, this is the vinyl release to get. Great sounding press. Original samples, 2xLP Gatefold with 'Who Shot Ya?'.
-
The bass on this record (particularly on the title track) is out of control - at least on my system, it needed a bit of tamping down. Nonetheless, a great-sounding pressing.
-
My record sounds great. I had no issues with playback or sound. The sleeve itself has a nice solid build feel to it.
-
I have a confession to make...I never listened to to this album or Biggie when this came out. No reason why, just wasn't what I followed. Today by chance, I found a nice copy of this and put this on.
GOD DAMN!!
what a joyous journey to be listening to this for the first time. I agree with Benny, the flow and track selection/arrangement is like reading a book. A book about a seriously talented individual growing up in uncontrollable chaos that cared enough to share his experience for the brief moment of time he was around.
A masterpiece.
-
this is one of the most complete rap albums created, from beats to rhymes to story telling and concept of the tracks and interludes....it is like reading a book....
