Cleaned it on a wet cleaner before playing. imho... buy it, clean it, play it LOUD.
Yes everyone would love an original US pressing, but don't be silly this is 170$ today and this is more than adequate.
Some surface noise+ "super minor"compression in places.

Sounds good. The guitar and lyrics sound great, but the hats sound tinny.
Good dynamics.
Record is nicely flat and well centered.
Has surface noise that's only audible between tracks.

Quality tested using an Ortofon Concorde MKII Elite cartridge on a Technics SL-1200M7L turntable -
Edited 2 years agoBought this yesterday sealed and I doubt it's a 2012 release, but I couldn't find more information on it. On first play it skipped a lot and had intermittent sound level changes, but after more cleaning it didn't skip anymore and the sound was fine (I also slightly increased the stylus tracking force). It sounds good and the vinyl is pretty silent, but at a 53-minute runtime this album begs for a 2-LP reissue.
