Great album and very nice pressing. The copy I got anyway is flat as you like and super clean. Nice to know these types of presses still exist.
Get it direct from the label for £18. Significantly cheaper than everywhere else has it. -
Edited 2 years agoSomber feeling album. It feels much more sad and haunted than his past stuff. Especially with titles like "Darkness Falls", "Strangers", "Memories". The tone is a perfect fit for Deepchord's style.
Home run release. The pressing is great, sorta swallows you in its atmosphere. Had little to no issues with it. Presentation is stellar too, that dark blue and orange artwork is so pleasing!
My only BIG complaint was the packaging it was shipped in. When I got it, I heard some shifting around in the package. And when I opened, there was a dent on the top left of the album cover : / Not a huge deal, everything else was fine, no reason to replace it. But I wish for more secure packaging in the future. Sorta annoying to see that on a brand new record.
Otherwise, highly recommend it and get it ASAP! -
Edited 2 years agoI know it's too early to say stuff like this but....this is one of the best Deepchord releases ever. I mean, literally every damn track on the 2xLP is good. ♥ ...that being said, it has a specific feel to me, sort of a bittersweet nostalgic feel to it. IDK though.....it's a tough emotion to pinpoint whatever it is but it's nice.
