Got a flat copy at reasonable price. Though I think the sleeve could have been thicker, the inner is great addition, the reproduction on the art is top notch (obviously, they didn't just scan any old LP), and the difference in remastered sound with my original 1980 repress makes it a nice addition to my collection and to compare to the original. I was too young to have money to buy it when it first appeared and I listened to it on a dubbed tape from a friend for two years, until I was able to gather enough coins returning used bottles from the dustbin in my neighbourhood, to actually buy it two years later. Yes, I paid it all with coins. This one with a credit card, which ain't so punk rock, but hey, Punk died the day CBS signed The Clash! ;) -
Similar to the "The Clash" title, this LP comes in pink, transparent vinyl? Does that take away from the sound? Nope, it's as stellar as anything that Tim Young did with and for The Clash. If you look at the wav-files you'll see a very flat line between the tracks, so you could say it is dead silent!!!
Even though this first one is of course more in the Pistol's vein, a raunchy Punk record, the talent and brilliant musicianship already sets them apart from many of their peers back in those days... Made in the year I was born I finally fall in love with it, when years back I liked their later works much more, but I'm coming from a Blues background.
Great album in a superb pressing, the artwork, again, is absolutely amazing, from the detailed inner sleeve to the A&B labels. I'm very glad they finally present The Clash in this handsome way, the music deserves it!!

Very strange color chosen, but sounds cool. The inner sleeve has that vintage feeling. I love add this one to my collection. -

Not as good as the 2016 pressing on black or green vinyl. Not as flat and as quiet or full sounding. Worth £20 though
