Heavyweight 180gm Vinyl LP, Remastered by James Guthrie, Joel Plante & Bernie Grundman BG* at das boot Recordings in L.A. CA. This is pretty much identical to the Limited Deluxe Box set except it is only the vinyl version. Comes with the same 32 page booklet, a Japanese OBI strip & Japanese lyrics insert. “New Music Fridays”… per Discogs some versions of this came with a stand-alone photo of The Power Station, I bought this Factory sealed and it had no such photo. The vinyl was made in USA; it has identical Matrix #’s as the Deluxe set version and the cover was “made and printed in The Netherlands” so kinda bullshit they even put an OBI strip on it other than it was ultimately packaged by SONY. The Book is identical to the Deluxe Box set version so the only difference is the Japanese lyrics /info insert. Large rectangular Hype Sticker front cover AND the added outside SONY flat use # SIJP 124 BUT Vinyl label, Vinyl Matrix #’s, Cover and the Spine use PFRLP28 and Barcode 1 90758. 76851. 9

avoid this release... disastrous pressing quality and terrible crackling... another reissue for quick money -
Edited one year agoA nice presentation with the new album cover .Not to replace the OG 1977 power plant but a dystopian version in my opinion . Its made in Netherlands not japan but having that obi is quite a nice touch . As for sound quality , will give it a 10/10 . Great dynamics and punch . Comparing it with the japan first pressing which is good ( 25AP 340 ) , this pressing have an edge on the lows . Only slight issue is the B side have a minimal scratch for the first few seconds which is a Q/C issue but playback is almost clean . -
I believe not all copies came with the small postcard (described as “one picture” above). I live in Japan, and when this was released, I ordered 3 from Amazon Japan and 3 from Disk Union. All 3 from Disk Union came with the postcard, but they were not inside the packaged album - they were added separately in the shipping box, seemingly as a kind of bonus material. It might just be something Disk Union offered, being that they are the largest record seller in Japan. The 3 from Amazon did not have the postcards. If anyone has more info, please let us know.

Paying a lot more for an obi, if this Japanese version, comes from where all the others are made.
