Kanye West – Donda

I get the whole theme but no track names on the labels... how am I meant to play Off the Grid like this

Some great songs, some of them are the best in the whole discography, but the full album experience is just too much for me. Over two hours long, four discs, eight sides and the last disc contains mainly additional words to the same songs from the first half of the album.

The pressing it's just fine, nice kicking bass and drums, clean highs and powerful mids. The packaging on the other hand is made from very cheap material that gets very easily damaged.

The record was hyped too much and this is what you get. Collossal album that was stretched over the limits. When it shines, it shines brightly, but when it doesn't it gets really dirty.

this pressing sounds super punchy, i love it. i still wish he kept the original track listing instead of shuffling it around, but its still good

Honestly this release is great. For as dirty as these discs looked when I pulled them out of their sleeves for the first time, they sound great. Little distortion and no surface noise on these discs whatsoever. Great release especially for the price that they sell for now if you like this album.

Ok listen to me… this and ye are Kanye’s best projects yes Jesus is king might’ve sucked but minus that Kanye has never dropped a bad project. I just have a soft spot for donda and ye because they are inspirational for me. YES… I still listen to Kanye, don’t judge me okay

Great album despite the horrible controversy around its creator, but a terrible vinyl release.

There are no labels on any of the FOUR vinyl records; the only way to tell them apart is a tiny "A/B/C, e.g." on the runout groove.

You have to look up the track order or have it memorised to find a song, this alone makes it a 1-star release in my eyes, only bumped because of the incredible tracklist.

Is this version of donda censored? Wanna find out before I pick it up

great album but my A and B sides SUCK so much, almost every song is clipping except for Life of the Party and Donda Chant

on Praise God I can barely understand what Baby Keem is singing, hella weird

the rest of the sides are super great

what a wonderful album and it sounds great on vinyl. the 8 sides seems to actually help break the album up a bit and imo makes it flow better as you can have a slight mental break in between changing sides.
well done Kanye, my fav new release of 2022. the bass on this album is superb and so deep on Jesus Lord.
