I know for a fact that Fire House Rock (12" Mix) and Ishen Tree (12" Mix) weren't mixed by Jammys let alone at King Tubbys. The mix has nothing remotely close to the sounds of King Tubby. Clearly mixed at Channel One by the trained ear. -
The extra 12'' on the copy I tried was way off-center, never seen anything like it before. Main album was slightly warped. -

Edited one year agoVP records is not up to snuff for quality control. 12" has multiple skips like many are reporting. Seems to be a lateral warp. -
So disappointed with this pressing. Many skips on the extra 12" on the track Fire House Rock. Such a shame because the quality of the rest of the album is very good.

My copy is flawless. Although it’s clearly from a digital master, I’m happy to have this on vinyl. The 12” tracks sound fantastic! -

I’m quite happy with mine also. I don’t mind that I paid full retail at my local store at all. Vinyl is flat and sounds great. No issues whatsoever with my copy. Thrilled that I was able to add this one to my collection.

Happy with mine. It came with out any noticeable flaws. I’ve never actually heard the original recording to compare but this one sounds sounds great. The added ep are really worth it.
