Edited one year agoThe very first instalment of what became legendary & is. It's still in progress & so far as writing this, these Spatial releases, these perfectly crafted wonders, are the ones holding up the deep & soulful vein of this often under radar great musical genre & style. I wonder sometimes when will James & Simon stop, for that day or moment will be the end of the truest sounds in this scenery.
I experienced some hurt & heartbreak in real time when thinking of this reality & we all know, good things come to an end eventually. But without going into great detail, these are killer tracks here but "Force Majeure" is the one. Spatial, very special. The perfect balance between hardish based production & sounds with subtle beauty & soul. The other tracks are just great but this one is played the most by myself when listening to this outstanding release.
