ing the choir of praise for this release. Beautiful soundstage and dynamic range,
One of the best offerings from VMP yet -
Terrific release. Glossy cover art reminiscent of those old Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers comics by Gilbert Shelton. In fact, that almost looks like Fat Freddy sitting behind the wheel of the tour bus on the back cover. The "Texas Sunshine" vinyl looks and sounds fantastic. This is a VMP "country" release but it's country, soul, rock & roll, and a bit of Tex-Mex thrown it for good measure. In other words, typical Doug Sahm. A real gem. You can't go wrong with this one.

This might be the best sounding release in the country series yet. Granted I’m coming into
this not knowing this album. But MY GOD. It’s like being at the Armadillo HQ in 1975. Drums kick. Vocal is warm and clear. And don’t get me started on the harmonica tone. RUN don’t walk to buy this 14/10 -
