My copy has a physical bump in the first track that actually causes my stylus to jump. It is not just one LP, but the seller I bought from sent a second and the exact same thing. I haven't checked to see if it is in the same location, but I am not sure that it matters - I don't feel like subjecting my stylus to any kind of Dukes of Hazaard acrobats.
Not sure, but this batch from Domino that I got is awful and the whole lot should be scrapped. Great album, but horrible pressing quality control. -
Superb original band along with a vinyl record that should set the template of how all records should sound, absolutely sublime

Hands down the Album Of 2022.
An essential rock masterpiece.
It’s a very modern record, yes. However, it summons up a few ghosts of arty late 70s and early 80s rock and new wave. It’s just a great great record and this pressing sounds phenomenal. -

In addition to this being my favorite record to play on repeat, very happy with the pressing. Sleeve really pops with the gold foil and print quality. I have no complaints on the media - it's flat, quiet, and meant to be played loud.

This release is classic and stylish in ways I was not expecting. The embossed, metalliic gold text pops on the front. The same gold lettering on the back of the jacket lends elegance to the lowercase track titles. This jacket isn't simply printed stock paper. The jacket paper is dyed - the inner jacket walls are a smooth velvet black. The black, poly-lined inner sleeve is on par with the highest quality original inners I have seen. Finally, the Domino logo design adds a touch of nostalgic class reminiscent of 60's jazz labels. This level of design seems approriate for a bespoke suit or a luxury pen set and yet oddly suits the four chord, indie power-pop, cheeky synthy duo quite nicely.
PS the mastering/pressing is sufficient. The provided inner sleeve saved me having to use a MoFi inner. Ordered straight from the record label and they did NOT send me a sticker, which is, like... half the reason I bought from them.

Better than I thought and they are certainly no novelty band. Pressing is fine and everything arrived OK. Sound quality is well rounded and has plenty of punch on my decent setup, so I wouldn't call it lo-fi.
