I was able to get a good price on a sealed copy on the aftermarket and it plays great. However I didn't receive a card. I was surprised since I am used to getting cards from Domino. Maybe it fell out.
A great vinyl pressing is more important then a . Clear ruby is awesome 🔴 -
Really good looking vinyl, unfortunately both albums had edge warp and the last song on side D had some ugly surface noise. Love the album though so I’ll probably get a black copy as well to see if it’s a better pressing.
-
Great record and pretty decent 45rpm pressing. Plays almost perfectly except for some noticeable surface noise at the very tail end of side D but the music mostly masked it.
-
My B side was littered with foreign material, pulled my needle up after playing and it was covered in dust, even after wiping vinyl. That issue aside, the album really was made for 45rpm. It opens so much compared to even the CD. This is AnCo at their most harmonically complex vocally and you can tell they’re happy to be back together, inspired.
-
Beautiful looking record, perhaps the most beautiful I've seen. Some noise in the right channel throughout A and B even after wash but nothing too distracting for me anyway.
-
I'm not sure if I have a bum pressing, but lordie the right channel is just fiiiilled with no fill and crackling throughout. It truly is a shame because the music is wonderful, and it's super crisp and clear when it's not being drowned out by all the noise from the pressing.
Setup: Fluance RT82 with AT-VM95ML cart/stylus. -
This pressing sounds absolutely wonderful. It makes up for the annoyance of having to change the side every ten minutes.
-
Does anyone know if the black and ruby colored vinyl will get its own listing?
Edit: thanks waltzno666
