I got a copy of this cheap in an HMV sale in Manchester about 1982. It's heavily dished... so bad you could keep fruit in it.
But despite that - a great album with some soulful and deep numbers. Know The Right and No Friend In This Time are especially strong. Prophet made some really good records around this time and I made sure that every time I saw one I bought it. -
Unfortunately, all the samples here are NOT from this album...which is too bad, as it is one of my all time favorites from back in the day... full of heartfelt singing & soul...and, with Yabby you at the controls, it's pure DEEP roots Jamaica...not dancehall, not ska, but the heavy bottom end of the Dub Diver's treasure box... ;))
