I own 6 copies of this album, including original UK and the 2018 remix, this is somehow the best sounding of them all.
Same can be said for my Dutch colored Rolling Stones repressings of same era. Perhaps they were careful to use highest quality tapes for these initial mainstream colored pressings? IDK -
Everything you wanted in an OG press of Animals but couldn’t seem to find in another country. Very solid pressing, soundstage and mastering in point, I would prefer a bit more bass, but seriously for an OG color variant, this is a dynamic and engaging pressing, faaaaar cry from the OG US pressings of that time. -

Just upgraded to a nicer copy of this one, and man, does this ever sound great. Easily my favorite version based on sound, plus it looks beautiful. Even the way the cover was printed is a bit nicer than my us copies. Nice vibrant colors... looks sharp and sounds sharp. Hard to beat. -

This version SMOKES my US first pressing. WIDE open soundstage, deep bass, powerful dynamics.
