Notes
Released in a slightly oversized folded card sleeve together with an obi and a folded paper insert. On obi is written DJシャドウ | プリエンプティブ・ストライク (as DJ Shadow - Preemptive Strike, in Japanese). The only differences between the standard version of Preemptive Strike and this one is the word "Sample" printed on the inner circle of the CD and also the obi has a sticker where should be the barcode, with some Japanese characters and an identifying number.
Includes 2 bonus tracks not released on the U.S. version, "Number Song (Cut Chemist Remix)" and a remix of Depeche Mode's "Painkiller (Kill The Pain Mix)".
Tracks 12 and 13 are bonus material for Japan only.
This record is dedicated to the memory of Paul Ballenger.
Licensed from Mo' Wax Recordings / A&M Records Ltd. London.
