Adequate sound quality, but there are times when Elton's voice has this tinny sound that hits a semi-cringing note. I noticed that in the first song.
Elton's voice is fairly sharply defined and focused in the middle of the soundfield. This is really true of Take Me to the Pilot. Overall, his voice is generally centered well. The music itself is wide and somewhat encoming.
It's a good SACD, but not great.
