In my opinion this release sounds slightly better than the original UK release with A-1U/B-3 matrix that I also have in the collection. And the quality of the sleeve cardboard is 500% better.
I prefer Japanese vinyl of Deep Purple -
Prensagem fenomenal-extraordinária!!! Quem conseguir adquirir uma cópia, vale muito a pena o investimento!!! <3 Viva, Deep Purple!!!

Edited 3 months agoLove this release. After some years, last week I realized that my copy is a translucent brown. Put your LP against a strong source of light and hopefully you will be surprised!

I don't have other pressings to compare to but sound quality of this Japanese pressing is good. Excellent instrument separation which, for a band of great individual musicians, makes the performance all that much better. Good clarity, clean vinyl and dynamic punch. Buy with confidence.

This is a good pressing. There are many machine head release and press. I have not tried UK and US yet but no regrets with this copy. Great sound quality and dynamic punch. Got it at a good price with the obi.
