My favourite U2 album, so I was all over this when it came out.
First - the packaging. Its one of those shoebox style outers. Same as the Simple Minds ones, Tears For Fears, Lloyd Cole snd The Commotions. I like these boxes. Not too extravagant yet big enough to warrant the Deluxe category. Personally, I would have preferred something more along the lines of the monster Achtung Baby set, but this is better than nothing.
Secondly. You don’t get much in the way of goodies. A fairly slim hardback booklet plus some art cards in a card wallet.
Musically, you get remastered versions of the album (Sounds loud to my ears) and another disk of B sides/ rarities (Also loud) plus a DVD
So, not spectacular. I still play my original record more if I’m honest.
Still, its a fine album. Autumn music
