As of today May 1 2025 this is still available at Runout, full edition with the mat. Really nice packaging. Sealable outer jacket cover, tip-on, anti-static inner sleeves, 180g, it's everything you wish was normal for all releases. Have yet to play it, but you can still get it new from Runout. Love this album so much.

Edited one year agoJust picked up two of these and got them today, 2024-01-20, brand new, at retail, from the Runout Groove website as the link PixelMaker1 provided. They still have copies of this edition available. Included the mat, yellow vinyl as described all at only $32.00 plus shipping.

Edited 2 years agoAbsolutely fantastic, although this was never an "audiophile recording", the album itself is a masterpiece. The colored variant is currently still in stock on Run Out Groove's website here:

The vinyl is also very high-quality and clean. Easily one of the quietest colored vinyl pressing I own. Highly recommended.
EDIT: I've compared this pressing with the s/t LP from the Keep on Keeping on Boxset, and can safely say that I think the one from the box set sounds better. Chris Bellman (who cut the boxset) is incredibly talented and was able to use the source (I don't think it was ever confirmed he cut from tape) to create a fantastic rendition of the album. However, I don't think the differences are massive. I even find this pressing perhaps better presented in certain areas. If I had to use words to compare them it'd be that this pressing is warm and relaxed, laidback. But the Bellman is more dynamic and precise, the vocals are brought out better and the instruments are cleaner. I wish they'd issue the S/T from the box by itself but currently I don't think it's worth getting the box for that album alone when this pressing is still great. Although the rest of the box is fantastic and I can't recommend it enough. -

Edited 3 years agoPhenomenally good pressing of one of the greatest soul albums of all time, it shows they can produce clear sounding coloured vinyl if they treat it with respect. Worth the expensive international shipping to get this one.... I'll echo the other comments that the orchestral tracks are a bit throw away...

Reissue of the year for me. Incredible pressing. Bonus disc as good as the record itself. Highly recommended!

Very happy with this release. Discs are flat and vinyl is quiet. Mastering sounds great on the actual album (haven’t gotten to the bonus disc yet). Packaging is quiet superb and high quality. Lovely reissue.
