Pressing sounds flat. Will search for a stereo pressing. Some tracks do the drums and bass decent justice and others don't. Just saying, do your research if you want an "in your face" pressing of this. This one just isn't it.

Playing on Rega 6 and there is a distinct lack of bass on this pressing. A bit blurry in the mids. Soundstage is decent. Ok for half price I paid but it appears there are better choices if you want to spend the money.

Better buy a early repress (73-76) from UK or US, much better sounding imo. You can get these for 20-40 bucks

It sounds great to me. I don't understand the bad reviews. Probably playing it on a bottom of the barrel system

The sound quality on this pressing is okay except for one thing - ZERO bass.

I have a well above average system with a dirty big Rhythmik sub (E15HP2) and it has as much bass as a transistor radio. Hard to fathom how Jimmy Page could let this happen.

He should give permission to the crew at Analogue Productions to put out on 2 x 45 rpm.

Luckily mine arrived from Amazon warped - so I can return it. Waste of money.

It’s an insult to Led Zeppelin to press their albums at this quality. It makes them sound as ordinary as a local bar band playing covers

On my copy there's a delay on Bonham's drum fill at the of Rock n' Roll which I've never heard on any other version... Anybody else got this...?

This pressing is one of those - if you have never heard Led Zeppelin before and this vinyl was the first time you hear it, you won’t realise how good the band was. I don’t why Led Zeppelin just doesn’t let analogue productions or Impex to pressing their amazing records - robbing the larger audience from enjoying their music in the best possible way

Being a huge LZ fan, this was one of the first few records I bought. While it is totally listenable, it sounds compressed and kind of lacks dynamic. Bonham’s drum is relatively buried and bass presence is low. Guitar is loud and up front like all Jimmy Page remasters from this series.

HOWEVER, I would still recommend it because I went through a lot of trouble to find a VG+ vintage press of this. Not worth it if you are a casual listener or just trying to get into this band.

The vintage press I own sounds phenomenal. Huge soundstage, great dynamics and separation.

Although this was pressed using a digital source, it still sounds great. Vinyl is mostly quiet, but noisy on some songs. Recommended!
