Represses of this record appear to be mastered by Bob Ludwig and have “Mastered by BOB LUDWIG at GATEWAY MASTERING” printed on the back cover. My true 2009 first pressing does not have this nor anything in the runouts noting a Ludwig master. Is this worthy of a new entry?

Sides 2 and 3 are way louder than side 1 on my copy. Otherwise, sounds fine.
Album itself is killer. All are their own powerhouse combining to create some of the rawest and hugest blues rock you will find \m/

I believe there is also another release of this album with the fist LP on orange and white half and half wax. The etching is also on the other LP (Black). My understanding is 200 were released at the original release party. I have no numbers or editions, but have seen it. Any one else more info?

            Excellent work,
entering kind of a stoner rock / old kyuss meets the seventies kind of feel with this.
way less poppy than his work with the raconteurs and with way more substance.
            in my opinion the
best release of Jack white's since his white stripe days,
definitely maturing and growing as a musician.
seems to be able to hold his own as a drummer and
            the lead vocalist is excellent
