My copy is a crackly piece of shit unfortunately. I also fear it may be a bit over rated... -
Reviews for this seem pretty mixed, and unfortunately I must have gotten a bad copy. Considerable surface noise even after an ultrasonic clean. Side B is ok but side A is pretty bad. Its a bummer, because the music is incredible and the places without pops and clicks sound very good. Hopefully a better repress comes along some day. -
This album hugely benefits from being ultrasonically cleaned.
From the factory there is all sorts of garbage all over the record and the disc has a lot of surface discoloration. Despite that, it actually plays extremely cleanly with minimal pops after a good cleaning. Not perfect, but a massive improvement. -
NICE AND DESCENT PRESSING. NOT SO QUIET WITH MANY CLICKS & CLASSIC SURFACE , BUT FOR CHRIST SHAKE, THE SOUND ARE BEAUTIFUL WITH GOOD AND BRIGHT DYNAMICS. SO THEN ASK YOUR SELF : I'M SO RETARDED AND I HAVE EXPECTATIONS? BUY THE CD THEN!!! DON'T BE A LOSER!!! -

Must be a fair variance between copies. Mine is pretty flat with little headshell movement. But, as others have said there are very few sporadic pops on mine. Not enough for me to get rid of it and I am fairly discerning about noise when playing. It has a bit of sibilance on the very high notes. Other than that it could would have sounded superb. -
Beautifully made. Highly recommend. I enjoy every part of this album so finding it on vinyl made me extremely happy that now I have the chance to own it physically. -
This wonderful record was ruined by a terrible pressing. Side A has loud pops and buzzing.
