God damn it - for a man with a comically grumpy persona, Ham doesn't half make some joyful music! The 'Thinkin About U' Remix is simply awesome on so many levels. I wish more 'happy' hardcore had sounded like this back in the late 90s, but I just don't think the production talent (and perhaps technology) was there. The way in which the vocal is layered and just builds and builds is sublime. Each of the three breakdowns brings something different to the table. Synths and stabs are superb. More of this please Mr. Ham!
Really like the Champion Sound remix on this release too. Takes a great NRG track and turns up the rave dial a few notches to make it more party orientated than the original. The switch between the laid back vocal breakdowns and the up-front sections works well and adds extra energy to this version. Another Kniteforce smasher.
