Yes, I do; it's an excellent listen. On The RTR Turntable (again) today. Great music, great sounds and wonderful cover artwork. Nice.

Nobody got anything to say about this record? I'll say a few things: I'd much rather listen to this than either of the 'Tragic Band' albums. The songs are good, the playing is great. Sam Galpin makes a decent fist of the vocals. It doesn't have the full-on majesty and invention of the classic Magic Band albums but as I say it's better then either Bluejeans or Unconditionally.
The only track I don't like is Desperadoes. It's a corny lyric and the song does nothing for me whatoever. Peon is a Beefheart instrumental and it's beautifully played. The other vocal tracks are ace. If you like Beefheart and you haven't heard this album then do so.
As a bit of trivia... Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson, a Magic Band fan and friend of Mark Boston, financed this album which resulted in their g with Virgin Records UK.
I got this back in the 70s and have alwasy enjoyed it. I got hold of the second Mallard album a few years ago but for some reason I have never listened to it. I can't explain that.
