Gates of Delerium changed my life and was the first "Musical Trip" that I ever experienced as I hear the album at age 13 2 years after it was released. Totally mind bending and even today wayyyyy ahead of the curve. The guitar meshed with electronic synthesizers near the final breakdowns are just incredible. Always been a massive YES fan.

Edited 13 years agoIt loses to Close To The Edge but "Soon" (a excerpt from The Gates Of Delirium) is one of the greatest things in history of music. My father once said it's like you're standing on the top of mount everest and looking on whole earth at once, of course at soon. (lol I know it's not possible)
