My copy skipped out of the lock-groove the first time I played it. But I put down some extra weight on the needle (a coin), anti skate cranked to high, and played it backwards and fowards a few times and now, with proper weight and normal anti skate, it locks in and HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK forever.
Give it a try. I think the groove is just very sensitive and needed a little breaking in to hold. I do think the goose knocking the needle onto the paper labels is brilliant, conceptually, but... yeah, it's rough on the needle. -

Lockout groove doesn’t work, and the needle stays on the dead wax. I’ve tried cleaning and nothing worked. Wondering if I should iam8bit.

Love it. The actual music is so good and the sound quality is pretty great for recycled vinyl.
Sadly my copy seems to be defective and the locked groove at the end of side B doesn’t work as intended. I’m going to try deep cleaning it and seeing if that’s the problem, but my guess is that it’s just not going to work. -
If you're a collector and keeping this in it's shrink-wrap, be aware that it is bio-shrink made from Biolefin and will completely biodegrade in 3 years down to basically dust... disappointment and record cleaning ;)

Perfect compliment to the game, highly recommend, just for the skip honk. The piano is really, really nice too

It feels like the height of mischievous goosiness that the end of the b side is a quick HONK before reaching NO runout groove. Terrible for my needle, but excellently on-theme.
