Edited one year agoFascinatingly subtle exploration of strange otherworldly sound-spheres! Nearly ambient and beyond anything I ever heard before! A must-have for the connoisseur of the remote!

I think it is time for someone honest to take responsibility for reissuing this great piece of vinyl.
I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated. -
Edited 10 years agoQuite possibly the most alien of the more experimental Library LP's I've heard. Macchi creates unheard sculptures of sound, and very eerie atmospheres, all nodding to the future of Cosmology and space travel. The sounds are so alien, it's hard to know how they've been made, whether through electronic means, scraping at Piano strings, or hitting the wood stock of Violins. Though there are hints toward obvious instruments, the music never gives anything away, and each track is a trip of it's own, it's too fantastic to dissect, too listenable.
It's quite possibly my favourite Library LP, as the sound is so unique, and nothing comes close to it's mood. Place this alongside Voix, Sei Composizioni and Contemporanea to mention a few of Macchi's other releases, and you know you're in the presence of a master. Buy on sight.
