I like most others bought this for "Sweetness and Light" but to be honest I think "Point Of No Return" is also really worth a mention... really great stomper of a tune.

This record is all about Sweetness and Light. This lovely track helped pop the collective cherry of Australians regarding rave/underground techno music. Despite being awesome already, it got heavy rotation on Australian radio station JJJ and was number 21 on JJJ Hottest 100 in 1994. Somehow this lead to Sweetness and Light winning the 1995 ARIA (Australian version of the Grammys) first ever Best Dance Release, with Paul Mac's infamous acceptance speech on live TV (!): "We'd like to thank all of Sydney's ecstasy dealers, without whom this award would not be possible."

To this day Paul Mac has never regretted what he said. Legendary dude, legendary track.

Heard Sweetness & Light on the radio during the height of 90's grunge and like countless others was instantly mesmerized. It's an absolute anthem which is generally credited to have finally gotten dance music some respect in Australia. After the success of it, The Big Day Out decided to create The boiler room in which itch-E & scratchy-E headlined the first year. It still sounds amazing every time I hear it. Wish it had of been re-released on 12" at some point. Maybe then there's be a few copies available for sale in Aus.
