Edited 9 months agoThis EU pressing sounds warm and has good soundstage, I love the compositions and the vulnerability in Paul Banks' voice throughout. Somehow I often listen to this Muzz album back-to-back with Interpol's "The Other Side of Make-Believe". Both albums share the same tired and melancholic mood.

Edited one year agoHaven’t listened to the LP In over 2 yrs. My equipment has changed over time but man .. this record really surprised me! Great soundstage and silent. So much so that I checked the reviews of other s. I was surprised to read so many bad reviews of the US pressing. Somehow my version matched up w the EU pressing. I lucked out! Such a great record musically. Highly recommend!

I’d read a lot of negative reviews of the US version so was glad to receive this EU version…until I unsealed it. The record was badly marked by the inner sleeves with a lot of scuffing etc. Soundwise, it had a constant crackle. Not good for me.

Edited 4 years agoI was lucky to get this pressing by chance & unlike the reviews of the other available pressing it is completely silent. I noticed from looking at the photos of the covers on Discogs the text colour of the stickers vary. They look more brown and difficult to read on my pressing when compared to the more clear red text on the variant.
Anyone interested they still have more copies available from what I can see. Just P.M and I will point you to them.
