I could not agree more with the below assessments. This is a travesty of a pressing and Manifesto has, since day one of taking control of this catalogue, fucked it up. I'll go back and fork over $35 for an old Alt Tentacles press.
-
I pulled out my 2001 Manifesto cd copy to compare, and the booklet included here is quite literally the cd book, with all of the info for the In God We Trust Ep that was included on the cd release, right down to the credits: “CD Body & Clear Tray Illustration: Flip Rensfelt grafisk form”🤣

Edited 3 years agoMine sounds fine. Bought from Amazon, did not have hype sticker, nor did it have a booklet. Very cheap though so not concerned.
-
my copy is flat and quiet has punchy bass and non-distorted vocals and I can separate soundstage on rhythm section - what is teh deal with a poster? what are you guys 12? - this is a great pressing and CHEAP
-
warped, crummy pressing, and the booklet d is nonexistent. what a rip off and disservice to a classic album
-
I agree with everyone else here. This is a rip off remaster, probably a bootleg of sorts. Pressing is horrible, actually warped out of the shrinkwrap, and the "booklet" is the booklet that was in the CD version, cd sized. Total failure.
-
one of my all-time favorite albums, but I want to smash this copy to pieces for not seeking out a legit one from the 80s. The naivety of a young collector
-
Don't buy! Sticker says "includes 28 page booklet" but there was no damn booklet. Also, the re-master is shit. My cd copy is better. Taking back to the store purchased from. I even called the record company (in LA) and they just said: "oh, they were labelled wrong". No apology, just another scam for us consumers to buy up! This should be a warning to all: check out the pressing version before you buy.
