I bought a US pressing with the following hand-etched matrix numbers:
SIDE 1 0105 (40196-1) #1
SIDE 2 0105 (40197-1) #1
The previous owner (unknown to me; I bought the record in a 2nd hand store) included a little sheet with "Jacksonville" written on it.
As I can't find any version here that matches my copy, I am curious if anybody owns that pressing and could give detailed information please ? -
Southern Rock? Is that just because they’re on Capricorn? Or because Rod Evans was from southern England? Apparently someone thinks this is Sweet Home Alabama in space.
-
wow imo this one has blast beats going on in areas of coarse that is just part of what makes this record amazing the riffs and the drums (all the instruments) and the compositions are from the beyond for sure!!!

Why is there no Winchester Pressing listed here? That's what I have (3-D lenticular cover) and I expect they must've been quite common back in the day.
-
one of the best hard rock prog rock records ever ! not a second wasted here.. one great jam/ riff goes right into another and another, ect…. never boring like several other prog records tend to do.

Nice sounding press. Warm and rich and smooth, with just enough detail and texture in the meat of the instruments and vocals.
