Mine also had the problems with the red vinyl, but after two cycles of ultrasonic cleaning the noise is almost gone - partially audible only on first track of D side, but nothing like before ... will try one or two more cycles.

I haven’t noticed any problems with mine and its in constant rotation and I’ve got a decent setup. I’m pretty happy with this release tbh.

Edited 4 years agoUPDATE: I wrote to an online record store today that was selling this set, too, and told them about the problem, asking if they were willing to check their copy (they only had one left). They wrote back to me that it would be no use ordering, they had checked the red record for me and it had the same noise on it. How honest of the employees from that store! Anyway, to conclude: this set is a real FAIL and WARP should be ashamed of themselves. What a great way to celebrate an album's anniversary...NOT! I can only ask of people who buy vinyl not just to put the vinyl on the shelves and listen to the mp3 s only, but to really listen to the vinyls in their entirety. Records are so expensive these days and companies with non existent quality control shouldn't be getting away with this. If there is a loud PLOP or a swishy noise on a brand new record, send it back every time!!!

Edited 4 years agoI had two of those, and while not as quiet as black vinyl, the green one was okay every time. But the red vinyl was very noisy in the quiet parts (sshhhh shhhhh shhhhh - noise) which was audible all the time.
Both sets went back to the sender. It is definitely the last time I bought couloured vinyl. Too much work sending records back every time. My turntable is a new Technics MK7 with an Ortofone stylus system.

Anyone else's press bad quality? Bought a brand new copy today and the quality is poor, fairly new stylus as well so is can't be that either :/

Dank! Great inherent volume and a wonderful pressing, no problems with mine. So glad I picked this up!
-
Mine is absolutely stellar, nice flat vinyl, hole's on center and label well placed. Practically perfect playback throughout, maybe one or two pops throughout the record, but otherwise absolutely wonderful. Packaging as well is really nicely done. Superb copy. Playing on a Rega P3 2016 with an Ortofon Quintet Black S MC cartridge.
