On this record Sebastien Leger samples all Michael Jackson tracks, and it's half-decent.
Tonite (Original 98) is the classic track Leger is known for with the original vocals as it was released on the Deaf N' Dumb Crew Promo EP on Blackjack.
Another Boot of Me samples the MJ track Another Part of Me, and while the intro sounds really tinny and terrible with "Shew" vocals and a steel drum kind of sound, around the 3-minute mark the main hook from the original song kicks in with a nice beat and repeats "Another Part of Me", it's pretty catchy.
The other side of the EP doesn't fare as well though. PTY the sample doesn't fit the beat very well, the vocals are simply Jackson whispering, and overall the hook just isn't catchy. I'd rather hear the original song on the dance floor. And Liberian Girl is a bit too chill.
