That ding ding bass sample on side A is fucking annoying but otherwise both tracks are great. I don’t understand who in their right mind would ruin the first minute of a track which would be perfectly fine without it.

Edited 3 years agoNo one gonna talk about the 2 different versions of "Tear Into It" on the same cat number?
Not sure why the track was changed but it was... at around the 0:50 second mark on one version the ding ding bass stops but in another version its still in the tune but chopped up.. check the videos out >>>>

Both sides of this release do an awesome job of expressing the great vibes of the mid-90s while at the same time offering something different to each other, ravey breakbeat goodness on Side A, the exploratory soulful jungle styles on B complete with authentic GLR dolphin noises - great 12" - pick it up if you can.

Listen to Deep Bass 9 by JMJ & Richie (aka Parallel World) on the Moving Shadow 2 on 1 series.
It sounds to me like it's a remix of Tear Into It, or vice-versa. -
I heard Tear Into It a few times @ the fibreOPTIC nights @ Club Kinetic mid/late '94. Massive massive choon, for me the best track ever released on Good Looking. It did take me way too long to find it however but have to add that Contagious is nearly as brilliant. I don't think anyone will ever agree with this statement, but although Good Looking released some incredible EP's over the years this release is and always will be the best that was ever to wear the Good Looking label... Quality...
