Edited 10 years agoC-Murder's second album "Bossalinie" is one of the most slept on albums in rap-history. Yeah, it's No Limit, yeah, it's bling bling, it's hood rich, cheesy and whatelse - but it's awesome! It paints a perfect picture - from the Q-Pack and the artwork, over the beats and the lyrics to the contributing artists - it all matches just perfectly.
C might not be the greatest lyricist or technical rapper on the planet, but he just put together an enormously atmospheric album, which shows No Limit at it's BEST. It's my favorite No Limit-album - succeeding Mac's "Shell Shocked" and Soulja Slim's "Give it 2 'em raw". Only Fiend's first No Limit-effort comes close to what this man put out with this album. A fascinating trip through the shiny, flashy and gangsta No Limit-World.
You like melodic beats, a lot of sung hooks and aren't too obsessed with the art of "keeping it real"? Then this album is your thing!
