The best series of (Deep) Soul compilations there is out there. Dave knew his music, and had a deep deep love for soul music and it shines through in all these CDs , and I don’t usually buy CDs. The sleevenotes are also informative and invaluable especially if you want to try and track down the original 45s. All 5 should be in everyone’s collection.
